Movies and Musicals - End of the Summer Term

Wow, What a great way to end our summer term!!

The children have been working so hard and we produced a great showcase, that made me very proud, I'm sure all you mums and dads felt the same. We really pushed the children and got them learning lots of material, and I though they did a great job. The New Malden Mini class combined song and dance with numbers like Bare necessities and I wanna be like you, from the Jungle book, The Coulsdon mini's learnt a fab dance to 'Happy' From the film Despicable me, and sang songs from the King and I and The Sound of Music. The 7-9 year old class even learnt lines to scenes and Alfie did a wonderful job at singing a solo of "Pure Imagination' from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, which was fantastic. Take a look at some pictures below.

Thanks also for your wonderful generosity with donating of raffle prizes and buying of raffle tickets. We raised over £50 on the raffle alone and this will be going towards 3 charities in the name of my late brother who passes away in March this year, aged 46. Those Charities are Great Olmond Street Hospital, Velindre Cancer Centre and Kidney research Wales.

So until September... I am busy planning, not resting, for the next year ahead but I am so looking forward to it! Hidden Gems is going from Strength to strength thanks to your support and all your little stars, who prove that when 'Performing for the love of it', There's nothing better!!!

Love
