Mini Gems Class

Here we develop the Foundations for a love of theatre and all its different aspects.

We use our imaginations through play and pretend & start to explore expression, developing confidence to speak aloud and use our imaginations to tell stories. We learn songs and rhymes through repetition and learn to use our bodies in dance. We use games and role playing to build confidence and expression. Priority is encouraging enjoyment of songs and music and improving team work, communication, coordination and rhythm. Children move up to the show class when they are between 6/7 years old but this class are also involved in the shows and performances.
